We had a wonderful dinner, brisket bombs appitizer, with red pines burger and the catfish tacos. Service was great and we loved the atmosphere. They also have a nice 3 season porch for the cooler months or a deck to sit and watch the lake.
Can't wait to come back on my next visit. Layla was a great waitress. Not only in service but also in recommendations for tourist stops. She sent us to Granddad Hill in Lacrosse and so glad we did not miss that stop! I had the Nashville Hot honey chicken breast sandwich. My husband had Blackened Walleye and we split the Wisconsin cheese curds. EVERYTHING was great. Loved the added touches like blankets at the table in case you got chilly. Too many things I want to try, will have to come back!
Red Pine is an excellent place!! Entertainment was good. The food was excellent! The owner took the time not only to bring our food, but talked to us for a few minutes. Lexi was an excellent server. We will be going back often.
We wanted a lake view and expected this would be a casual bar and grill with bar food, but it was so much more!! They have a huge menu, and it’s not all simple, easy-to-prepare food. This is delicious food in a really nice atmosphere. Even the main back deck has class, including blankets on the chairs. The had a full staff, so we were never wanting for anything. If we lived close, we would eat here all of the time!!
By far the best Walleye sandwich I have ever had, chicken andouille mushroom soup was awesome and a Ahi Tuna salad. The facilities patio waterfront all very comfortable. Voted #1 for bar, food, and family and that would get my vote also
I've now been here twice. Best rubens and batterfried walleye that I've ever had. Great sweet potato fries which I get as a side. We've ordered pizza as an appetizer each visit, and the Thaitalian pizza is fantastic, don't be afraid to try something different!!!
Cool location on the river! The food is fantastic, and very friendly staff. This place is popular and predictably busy! You may have a longer wait for food, so don't go if you're in a hurry. We love the heated patio (that is open-air during the summer, of course.) We choose to have lunch here every time we are in the area! Patio is well-behaved dog friendly. Leashed.
If eating here is the only reason you visit the area, it is so worth it. Besides having a beautiful location, this restaurant has some of the best food I have ever eaten. We seriously contemplated ordering a second round of food just to take home and enjoy later. First, we were blown away by the cheese curds, seriously, don’t even bother resisting the cheese curds. Then, I had the blackened chicken pita with cilantro lime rice (which was arguably some of the best cilantro lime rice I have ever eaten) and my husband ordered the smoked catfish sandwich with the red pines fries. There was not a single thing left on our plates. We ordered cocktails, had the pleasure of meeting the owners, and spent all night enjoying the wonderful vibes. Next time, we will be planning our trip around when they have live music, which I imagine is just short of magic, considering they have a stunning deck that overlooks the river. Seriously, don’t take my word for it, go give a shot, you will not be disappointed.
